Dot Day Spotlight: Dean Road Elementary Has Became Dot Crazy

Dots have scattered everywhere this International Dot Day 2019 at Dean Road Elementary School in Auburn, Alabama. Andrea Newman, the art teacher at the school and featured in “Alabama Art Educator ASSO” newsletter , shared that students and teachers created their own marks through games and activities.

Students were treated to a personal video message from Peter H. Reynolds to start the celebration. From paper plates, Dots candy structures, and dressing themselves up in dots, the day was full of fun! Check out how these kids showed their dots, and got the teachers involved.
