Dot Day Spotlight: Josip Pupačić Primary School Become Dot Day Sleuths

For International Dot Day 2019, Josip Pupačić Primary School in Croatia had 350 students, and 14 teachers making their marks! Instead of using computers for their dots, they decided to create comic books, bookmarks, and pixel art in their computer science classes.

Students decorated old CDs with groups of dots to represent bits and bytes in computers.

For their last activity, students participated in “dot searching,” and created various drawings while being sleuths. Teachers included their very own dots through math, to help explain sets of numbers. The madness of dots flowed through the school, resulting in stronger imaginations, and new eyes for “dots”.
