For International Dot Day 2019, students from Beaconhouse Jauhar Primary in Pakistan showed us how a simple dot can be transformed into a beautiful piece of art! Dots can be found everywhere in the world. The children used their imaginations and drew how they see dots in their perspective. Check out how they connected their dots and made their mark on Dot Day!

The 2019 International Dot Day celebration was a success at SJKC Lick Hung Primary during their annual Chinese Reading Camp in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Hosted by parent volunteer, Jessica Ng, campers painted dots, signed them, and learned about the value of the story “The Dot,” by Peter H. Reynolds. The children were able to make more dots outside of their school, which each one was eager to join in. Jessica was kind enough to explain why she celebrates Dot Day.

Dots have scattered everywhere this International Dot Day 2019 at Dean Road Elementary School in Auburn, Alabama. Andrea Newman, the art teacher at the school and featured in “Alabama Art Educator ASSO” newsletter , shared that students and teachers created their own marks through games and activities.
